FAQs

Q: How will my car be judged?

A: We have a judging sheet where each category is scaled from 1 - 10. We are looking for a clean install. Meaning, if it is a toss up between your car and another for a trophy, the one where all wires are hidden and cleaned out well, will get the upper hand. In addition, we understand that this could be your daily driver. We do overlook the normal, everyday driving rock chips, stains, etc... But just in case, we created a Daily Driver class this year.

Q: I heard this was a family event. Is that right?

A: Yes. We want this to be an event that everyone in the state would feel comfortable bringing their kids out to look at the hard work and money you have put into your vehicle. We are looking to help build creativity and excitement about cars/trucks/bikes in the next generation. Anyone inappropriately dressed will be asked to change or leave the premises.

Q: I don't see a class that my car fits in. Should I come? Would you make a class for me?

A: Please come. It's why we stress a pre-registration. We will make sure there is a category for you vehicle. And if you haven't pre-registered and have to do the gate entry, no problem. Sometimes, we assign categories which there aren't any vehicles to assign and so there are extra trophies where we could create a category for you. Unfortunately, these "changed" categories aren't decided until juding time, and we cannot guarantee your category.

Q: Why is there's a strict no alochol policy.

A: We want to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time. Open containers are considered public intox, not to mention, we are a dry county. In addition, this policy is out of respect and courtesy for the vehicles of other contestants and the property. We expect EVERYONE to abide by this policy. There will be no verbal warnings.

Q: Has this become a charity event?

A: Yes. We never started these car shows for profit. In fact, the first time we've ever broken even was last year. Since we've gotten to the point where we're breaking even, we feel that we are close enough where we can make an impact for a charitable organization. For every year hereafter, we will choose a charity that this show can benefit.

This year, we have decided to continue investing in the development of our future. These high schoolers need the proper tools and equipment to learn the trade. Who knows...one day, they might be working on your car!
